Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma · CHILD CARE
Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) Certificate Program
The tribe’s CCDF program funds the Kickapoo Community Childcare Center and a Certificate Program that helps Native American families pay for child care at the provider of their choice. The CCDF page describes the fund as helping “low-income Native American families that are working or participating in education and training” with child care costs; a notice dated October 1, 2025 states the program “will no longer consider family income or assets for CCDF eligibility” and that it is accepting child care assistance applications. Child care service does not start until the application is complete and approved; applications are processed within 30 days of the date stamped.
