Adult Basic Education (ABE)
Assistance for eligible Native Americans in the Navajo Nation service area to obtain a high school equivalency certificate (GED or equivalent), improving baseline literacy and opening pathways to employment and further training.
Who's eligible
Any CDIB Holder Geographic
Enrolled member of any federally recognized Indian Tribe, Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian with a Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB), aged 14+, residing within the Navajo Nation service delivery area, and meeting at least one economic criterion. Male applicants 18+ must be registered with Selective Service.
