Head Start and Early Head Start
Federally funded Head Start for children ages 3–5 and Early Head Start for children birth–3 and pregnant women. Provides early childhood education, health, nutrition, and family services. Tribal enrollment is not required; income and eligibility guidelines apply. Locations at Sacaton, Santan, Vah Ki, and Komatke.
Who's eligible
Income Based
Children ages 3–5 (Head Start) or birth–3 (Early Head Start) and pregnant women meeting Head Start income and family-status eligibility criteria. Children who are homeless, in foster care, or receiving TANF/SSI are prioritized. Tribal enrollment is not required.
