Higher Education Scholarship (Tribal Members)
The Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma Higher Education College Scholarship Program “serves the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma Tribal Members exclusively,” providing financial assistance to members attending a nationally or state-accredited college or university. Full-time students receive assistance for tuition, fees and books plus a monthly stipend for school and living expenses; payment goes directly to the college financial services office. Graduate assistance depends on funding. The department’s most recently posted scholarship list (2020–2021) shows $1,200 per semester for full-time enrollment. Students must enroll in classes that apply to their declared degree, maintain a minimum GPA and enrollment status, and submit grades and schedule after every term.
Who's eligible
Tribal Citizens Only

Required: updated tribal enrollment card or CDIB, high school diploma or transcript or GED, official college transcript if previously attended (sealed), a typed personal letter of at least 100 words on the school, major and career objective, a letter of acceptance, the class schedule, and a Financial Needs Analysis form completed by the school's financial aid office.
