Tribal Assistance Program — Holiday Assistance
Financial assistance for unmet needs during the holiday season — holiday meals, travel, or any items traditionally purchased by tribal member families for the holidays. Available once a year, December 1 through December 31 only.
Who's eligible
Tribal Citizens Only
Open to all enrolled Otoe-Missouria tribal members including minors; for a minor, only the custodial parent or legal guardian may apply and the tribe must have documentation of custody or guardianship in its enrollment files. Available one time per year, December 1 through December 31 only. There are no reimbursements, and the assistance must directly benefit the applicant. You must apply to receive it — it is not distributed automatically.

No residency requirement is published. Tribal Assistance Program eligibility keys on enrollment in the Otoe-Missouria Tribe rather than where the member lives.

How to apply
Submit the Holiday Assistance application by mail, drop-off, fax to 580-723-4440, or by filling it out at the distribution site. The program states that applications must NOT be emailed. Mail to: TAP, 8151 Hwy 177, Red Rock, OK 74651; mailed applications must be postmarked by December 31. You may send the application before the December 1 eligibility window opens, but assistance is not distributed until December 1. Direct deposit is available if you apply and select it.
