For enrolled Tonkawa tribal members; a Tonkawa Tribe enrollment card (CDIB) must be submitted. Students must apply for FAFSA every new school term — the institution will not complete the Financial Needs Analysis form until FAFSA is done — and submit a letter of admission and a class schedule showing name, semester, institution, and total credit hours. Education services support only ONE associate's and ONE bachelor's degree per member; graduate students are considered by the Tribal Business Committee only if funding is available. Undergraduates are limited to 10 semesters of scholarship assistance, and summer semesters do not count toward that limit. Applications are submitted every semester. Full-time students must carry 12 or more credit hours and a 2.0 GPA or be placed on probation; part-time students (11 credit hours or less) must provide an invoice and also maintain a 2.0 GPA. The program states plainly that it is an assistance program and cannot cover the total cost of a degree, and that no student is reimbursed for completed coursework.
