Self-Governance Higher Education Scholarship (Other Tribes in the Kickapoo Jurisdiction)
The Education page: “SG Scholarship provides assistance for tuition, fees, & books to Native Americans who reside in the Kickapoo Tribal Jurisdiction. Students who have an unmet need are first priority.” It uses the same Higher Education application, deadlines and required documents as the tribal-member scholarship; the monthly stipend is stated only for full-time KTO students.
Who's eligible
Any Enrolled Tribal Member Geographic
The application lists as eligible "Native Americans enrolled in a federally recognized tribe residing in the Kickapoo service area." Students with unmet need are first priority, and the application requires a Financial Needs Analysis form completed by the school's financial aid office. Also required: updated tribal enrollment card or CDIB, high school diploma/transcript or GED, official college transcript if previously attended, a typed personal letter of at least 100 words, a letter of acceptance, and the class schedule.
Where it's offered
Regional
Limited to residents of the Kickapoo Tribal Jurisdiction, which the tribe describes by rivers and roads (Deep Fork River, Indian Meridian, Kickapoo Street in Shawnee, North Canadian River) rather than counties, so the row cannot be ZIP-matched.
