AST Purchased/Referred Care (PRC)
Supplemental program that pays for emergency and specialty care outside the ASTHS clinic system when medically necessary and funds are available — including referrals to outside specialists, hospital care, hearing aids, and orthodontics. 72-hour advance notice required for non-emergency referrals; ER visits must be reported within 72 hours.

Tribal Citizens Only
Enrolled AST members who have resided in the PRC catchment area for at least 6 consecutive months. Catchment area: Pottawatomie, Cleveland, Oklahoma, Logan, and Lincoln counties. Non-AST tribal members are referred to their own tribe's IHS/PRC program.
