IHS Purchased/Referred Care — Standing Rock Service Unit
Pays for specialty and referral care from non-IHS providers when IHS cannot provide the service directly. Covers hospitalization, specialist visits, and other referrals that exceed on-site IHS capacity.

Must be an eligible IHS patient and reside within the Purchased/Referred Care Delivery Area (PRCDA). Priority given to emergency and urgent conditions. Pre-authorization generally required except emergencies. Contact the PRC office before seeking outside specialty care.
