Comanche Nation · MEDICAL
Prescription Assistance Program
Supplemental help with medication costs and medical equipment for enrolled Comanche members: up to $125 toward non-diabetic medication (or the co-pay, if insured) once every 30 days, up to $500 toward a hearing aid, plus medical equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, shower chairs and transfer benches, medical supplies including wound care, ostomy and adult diapers, and specialty items such as CPAP machines, prosthetics, oxygen and hospital beds.
Who's eligible
Tribal Citizens Only
The program page states its qualifications as: a complete application, an enrolled Comanche tribal member, and a valid prescription from a physician. It states plainly that "This program has no geographic, age limit, or income guidelines to receive services." Medication assistance is capped at $125 once every 30 days; hearing aid assistance at $500. Pricing for equipment, supplies and specialty items is quoted by the office. The tribal member is responsible for submitting all documents and for confirming they were received.
Where it's offered
Nationwide
Explicitly geography-free. The program page states: "This program has no geographic, age limit, or income guidelines to receive services." Enrolled Comanche members qualify wherever they live, which is why this is entered as Nationwide rather than tied to a southwest Oklahoma county list.
Location:
5 SW D Ave, Lawton, OK 73501
