CPN Purchased/Referred Care (PRC) — CPN Citizens
Supplemental funding to pay for medical services — emergency and specialty care — that CPN Health Services clinics cannot directly provide. Covers referrals to outside specialists and hospitals for authorized appointments. Authorized referrals are limited to 3 appointments; referral clerks must be notified prior to each outside appointment.

"CPN tribal members- Enrolled CPN tribal members who can provide proof of residency within the designated catchment area will be eligible to receive services through PRC. CPN tribal members must reside within the PRC catchment area of Pottawatomie, Cleveland, Oklahoma, Logan, and Lincoln Counties." A referral from a CPNHS primary care provider is required, and evidence must exist that alternate resources such as Medicaid have been applied for. "Patients who do not live in the CPN service area will have all referrals forwarded to their service area to be reviewed and processed."

How to apply
Must be an established CPNHS patient. Request a referral from your CPNHS primary care provider, then call CPN Purchased/Referred Care at (405) 964-4123 (1900 S. Gordon Cooper Dr., Shawnee, OK 74801). Notify referral clerks before each outside appointment; for emergency room visits, notify PRC within 72 hours or bills will not be paid.
