KNES Native Youth School Supplies Program
School supplies for Pre-K through 12th grade students in the Kaw Nation service area, provided by Kaw Nation Education Services to ensure access to essential educational resources.
Who's eligible
Any Enrolled Tribal Member Geographic
KNES states plainly: "KNES programs are available to any enrolled member of a federally recognized tribe within our service area" — Kaw Nation citizenship is not required. Programs are for Pre-K through 12th grade students enrolled in public schools within the Kaw Nation service area who are enrolled members of a federally recognized tribe.
Where it's offered
County
The KNES page gives two different answers and both are reported here. Its "WHAT AREAS DO WE COVER?" section lists five towns — Blackwell, Kildare, Newkirk, Peckham, and Ponca City — while the About section says KNES exists "to serve the people of the Kaw Nation and Native Americans in Kay County." All five towns are in Kay County, but a five-town list is narrower than the county, so no structured county area is attached — confirm your address with KNES at (580) 749-5420.
