Kiowa Graduate Recognition Program
Formally recognizes Kiowa members who complete high school, associate, bachelor, and graduate degrees. Applicants who complete the Declaration of Graduation are eligible for a graduation stole, supplemental assistance for graduation expenses such as a cap and gown, an incentive award for completing the degree or certification program, and an invitation to the Higher Education Graduation Banquet and Awards Ceremony. Recognition programs are held each spring.
Who's eligible
Tribal Citizens Only
Open to all Kiowa members regardless of residence. Recent graduates and students who provide verification of meeting the graduation requirements of their institution are eligible to apply regardless of whether they have participated in the program before. Fall and winter graduates apply the following spring. Under FERPA the Higher Education office may discuss an application only with the student.
