Comanche Nation · MEDICAL
Community Health Representatives (CHR)
IHS-funded community health workers who provide medical transportation to and from routine doctor appointments, home health visits for home-bound individuals, medication pick-up and drop-off from the IHS pharmacy, first-aid standby at powwows and special events, rabies vaccination clinics, and free feminine hygiene products.
Who's eligible
Any Enrolled Tribal Member
The program page states: "Comanche Nation CHR is contracted with the Indian Health Services for funding to use these resources and services for all tribally enrolled Native Americans within the program’s service area." Enrollment in any federally recognized tribe qualifies for these core services — Comanche membership is required only for the separate Medical Appointment Fuel Assistance benefit, which is entered separately. Out-of-town transport runs Tuesdays and Thursdays only.
Where it's offered
County
The program publishes its own boundary as "Comanche, Cotton, Tillman, parts of Caddo, Jackson, Jefferson, and Stephens Counties." Because four of those seven counties are explicitly partial, this row carries no structured service area — attaching a whole-county area would tell residents of the excluded parts of Caddo, Jackson, Jefferson or Stephens that they are covered when the program does not say so.
