Optometry Program — Out-of-Area Eyewear Voucher
A $250 voucher for eyeglasses or contact lenses redeemable at an optician near you, for enrolled Comanche members who live outside the tribe’s immediate service area.

The program page states: "Enrolled Comanche members who live outside of our immediate area are eligible to receive a $250 voucher for either eyeglasses or contact lenses at an optician near you. Assistance is limited to once per fiscal year (Oct - Sept)." Note that the separate About Optometry page gives the out-of-state voucher figure as "up to one hundred and thirty dollars"; the main program page, which is the newer of the two, states $250. Both figures are recorded here — confirm the current amount with the office before relying on it.

This benefit exists specifically for members living away from Lawton — the page describes them as those "who live outside of our immediate area" and the About page refers to "Out of state tribal members." Redeemable at an optician near the member, so it carries no Oklahoma restriction.
How to apply
Call the optometry office at (580) 360-0423 and ask about the out-of-area voucher, or submit the Optometry application through the Cognito form. The About Optometry page asks out-of-area members to "Call and speak with one of our experienced and professional staff" for details.
