Assiniboine and Sioux Vocational Rehabilitation Program (ASVRP)
ASVRP provides culturally appropriate vocational rehabilitation services to American Indians with physical and/or mental disabilities so they can prepare for, maintain or engage in gainful employment, including self-employment or business ownership. Consumers are actively involved in their Individualized Plan for Employment, choosing the employment outcome and the services required. The program follows the state VR agency’s case management plan and offers a wide scope of services including Native American healing ceremonies and guidance and counseling on request. It accepts approximately 50 applications per year.
