School Expense Reimbursement
A $250 reimbursement for education-related school expenses, available twice a year. Covered expenses include clothes, fees, books, supplies, instrument purchase or rental, school lunches, lab fees, sports activity fees and passes, graduation gowns and announcements, class rings, and uniforms.
Who's eligible
Tribal Citizens Only
Open to enrolled Otoe-Missouria tribal members. Amount of assistance is $250, available two times per year — once from January to June and once from July to December. A completed Extraordinary Assistance application, receipts, and a school schedule are required; students 18 years of age and older must provide a class schedule. Other expenses may be approved by the Education Committee. The assistance must directly benefit the applicant.

No residency requirement is published. Tribal Assistance Program eligibility keys on enrollment in the Otoe-Missouria Tribe rather than where the member lives.

How to apply
Complete the Extraordinary Assistance application and submit it with receipts and a school schedule to the General Fund office at 8151 Hwy 177, Red Rock, OK 74651, by mail, by fax to 580-723-4440, or in person. Reimbursement payments can be direct-deposited if you complete the tribe's direct deposit form — note that per capita payments would then be deposited to the same account.
