Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) Child Care Subsidy

Helps income-eligible families pay for child care — often parents who are working, in job training or in school, and children who receive or need protective services. Families may use a licensed child care center, a licensed family child care home, or the Relative Provider program, which pays an eligible family member to care for the children in their home. All providers must be contracted with UKB CCDF. Families may owe a co-payment based on monthly income; the co-payment can be reduced or waived at the program's discretion for children in protective custody.

The program serves "income eligible families"; the application (updated 4/18/2024) requires a month of pay stubs for every household member 18 and older, tribal membership or CDIB cards for all household members, and says services are available only while the parent is actively working or in school unless the program approves otherwise.
